Once in a certain village, there used to live a lady . She was ill minded- She never spoke good of others, always busy herself in poisoning others ears, doing bad for other. All the people of the village would hate her but they couldn’t do quite this. There used to come a saint regularly to the village.
He would beg food door to door , when he got considerable food, he would go in the forest. The lady would abuse the saint, blamed his laziness but the saint never reacted angrily to her.
In contrast, he would bless her. The lady would get more angry with the saint. One day she had an evil plan for the saint ,she decided to kill the saint ,she prepared delicious sweets and added poison in it. Next day the Sadhu as usual came to the lady’s house to invite food. this point the woman was polite and handed the poison mixed sweets to the Saint. The Saint blessed her and felt happy to seek out change in her nature.
At night because the saint was about to eat, there was knock at the door, The saint opened the door and located a young man at the door. The young man sad,” Please allow me to remain here tonight, because it is stormy condition . I can’t proceed my journey,” the saint welcomed him, and shared food with him. The young man tasted sweets and demanded the sweets once more as he wanted to eat more . The saint gave him all the sweets, the young man ate but needless to say he died. to each one’s surprise, the young man was none but the son of the lady.
